Kirtan Evenings

What is a Kirtan?

A kirtan is a kind of group meditation through chanting or singing mantras. Typically short phrases are repeated or call and response. Though kirtans are a kind of communal magic rather than 'performances,' our kirtans are led by [NAME], {NAME}, and (NAME) who travel from Cambridge to sing with us.

No singing or musical experience is required whatsoever. We invite you to just be as you are.

Show up as you are, bolsters, mats, or chairs are provided to sit on but you are more than welcome to bring your own blanket or cushion.

Light vegetarian refreshments are provided afterwards for a chance to socialise, so if you have any dietary requirements or allergies, please let us know in advance.

Yoga is not about being in competition! Always respect your body and disclose any injuries to your teacher. Adjustments can be offered and support tailored to your needs.

If you have any injuries/medical conditions please make sure that I know before class and include relevant details on the sign-in sheet in the first class of the course.
